Changing up your landscape doesn’t have to break the bank! Here at Everett’s Landscape, we can help you create and maintain a beautiful landscape while sticking to your budget. Through mindful planning and intentional choices, you can achieve the landscape of your dreams that stays within budget!
Consulting with a landscape designer and being upfront about your budget is a good way to start. They can help keep costs down by working with and highlighting existing features within your landscaping. Whether you have a collection of rocks, large trees, screening shrubs, colorful flowers, or anything in between, our designers can see the potential on any property. Sometimes all it takes is an intentional pruning of an overgrown tree to revitalize both it and the surrounding area.
A great way to cut down on cost is through doing some of the work yourself. We can seamlessly combine the work you do with work done by our knowledgeable and experienced crews! We have helped several customers by installing or fixing up existing planting beds by only planting large trees or shrubs along with the soils, mulch, and edging. Our customers are then able to plant everything they want with the assurance that the soil and mulch we installed will help to cultivate the new plantings and allow them to thrive.
We also have a whole department dedicated to DIY work in EG Designs. This process includes a 3D landscape rendering for any area of your property. It also comes with a plant list and discounts at Everett’s Gardens! Whether you consider yourself a dabbling or seasoned DIY-er we can find the right balance to fit your needs, abilities, and budget.
Everett’s Gardens also has several events, classes, and sales throughout the year to help you save money and learn more! Our largest event is Customer Appreciation Days which takes place one weekend every fall. We have sales on our plant material, our landscape designers and maintenance salesmen available to chat and answer questions, and our garden’s staff roaming around ready to serve! This is a great time to get plants at a discount, learn more about plant care, and grab some food to eat!
Another way we support DIY-ers in their landscaping work is through our deliveries of all types of material. We can deliver plant material through Everett’s Gardens and any of our in-stock soils and stone through Everett’s Landscape. This can be a more cost-effective choice when installing this material if you don’t have a way to transport heavy or large loads yourself.
Once your landscape has been installed don’t forget to stay on top of weeding, mowing, and watering! For all things landscape maintenance, our maintenance salesmen can get you a quote that covers a variety of needs tailored to your property. Whether you want regular, weekly or biweekly visits, or just a one-time cleanup, our trained maintenance crews can revitalize your landscape! Watering new plants and lawns is important for the success of the plantings down the line. Make sure to talk to your designer or the gardens’ staff to make sure you are giving your plants the best chance for survival!
Changes don’t have to happen all at once, remember that you can work in stages! Working in stages can help support your budget whether you are leaning more toward DIY work, working with a landscape designer, or something in between. This gives you time to make purposeful decisions and stick to your budget.
