Hydroseed Truck Operator

Pay: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour  

Job Description:

The Hydroseeder is responsible for the installation of seed, fertilizer, mulch, etc. at various locations, properly completing tickets and time sheets through mobile reporting, and providing superior customer service to all Everett’s Landscape customers.

This position transitions into snow removal tasks for the winter season. 

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Drive and operate hydroseeding truck to apply seed, fertilizer, mulch, and other materials on designated areas.
  • Act as lead person by delegating tasks to work efficiently as a team.
  • Time management skills and ability to solve problems on the spot.
  • Skilled in customer engagement and support.
  • Maintain communication with the Operations Manager regarding the progress of current projects and future scheduling priorities.
  • Responsible for maintaining truck and equipment on a daily and weekly basis.

Requirements:

  • Valid Michigan Driver’s License.
  • Valid Michigan issued CDL A, with air brake endorsement.
  • Valid Medical Card.
  • Pesticide License certified in Core 3A, 3B and 6.
  • Experience operating large trucks and equipment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
